One of The Honest Ulsterman's favourite illustrators and designers Niall McCormack has written a piece explaining the influences for his superb cover art for our southern comrades Gorse. If you haven't picked up a copy of the journal we cannot recommend it more highly. Niall's design work and his Vintage Irish Book Covers site are also well worth exploring.
